Piccadilly Chardonnay
Wine
Grosset Piccadilly Chardonnay is sourced from a high altitude Piccadilly Valley vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. Planted in mottled yellow clay soils, the vines grow in one of the coolest sites in the region.
The handpicked fruit is destemmed and crushed. Only the free run juice is transferred to French oak for barrel fermentation, partial malolactic fermentation and 10 months of ageing. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
Light yellow, Grosset Piccadilly Chardonnay has citrus and stone fruit flavours, bright lively acidity and a clean, pristine finish. It is elegant yet exuberant. Cellaring potential is seven years.
